Microsystems’ Testing and Repair Process
provides the basis for many of the reverse
logistics products
and services we offer. The process begins
with incoming inspection and inventory and
includes testing, repair, packaging and shipping.
It is the Testing and Repair process that
takes products acquired through the Reverse
Logistics Process and makes harvested parts
and remanufactured systems available for the
Remarketing Process. Parts and components
that have no use or have reached end of life
are recycled.
Our
Technical Process includes reverse logistics
services that consist
of software imaging, disk cleaning and data
removal. Image Microsystems offers Data Recovery
services that can retrieve lost information.
Each drive is inspected and failed conditions
are verified. Data is recovered and stored
on a CD/DVD. Information can be made available
online over a secure web server for data streaming
via the Internet. Files and records are maintained
for 90 days for failed laptop hard drives.
Normal turnaround time is generally two working
days. However, the length of time depends
on the size and the corruption of the drive
and any special instructions for individual
units.
With
hundreds of stations in place, Image Microsystems
can mass copy software programs onto large
quantities of disks or systems. Our state-of-the-art
hard drive-imaging facility is equipped with
multiple Flex Star, fiber Channel, Hotwire,
IDE and SCSI test machines with capacities
exceeding a thousand hard drives per shift.
