Image Microsystems is lead by a hardworking group of individuals with decades of experience and tons of passion.
Hal Compton Jr. – CEO
Prior to becoming CEO of Image Microsystems and Office Furniture Source, Hal Compton Jr. was the CEO of HASCO Medical, Inc., a publicly traded vehicle retailer specializing in transportation solutions for people with disabilities.
In just eight years, Hal helped HASCO obtain and run 23 retail stores. During this time, HASCO’s value grew from $2 million to over $110 million. Before his time with HASCO, Hal worked in the retail sector for 18 years, acting as Vice President of Sales and Operations for CompUSA for most of that time.
Mr. Compton is an advocate of giving back to the communities who have helped inspire his success. He accomplishes this by serving on the National Advisory Council for the Arnold Palmer Hospital in Orlando, Florida as well as the Advisory Board for the Salvation Army in Dallas, Texas. He is a proud graduate of Pepperdine University where he earned his Bachelor of Arts in Advertising and Marketing.
Alfredo Ollivierre – COO
Before taking on the role of COO of Image Microsystems and Office Furniture Source, Alfredo Ollivierre was the COO of HASCO Medical, Inc. for eight years. During his time with HASCO, Alfredo was deeply involved with all aspects of company growth and was responsible for managing operational factors.
Prior to working for HASCO, Mr. Ollivierre worked in retail for over 25 years. During that time, he acted as the Senior Director and Regional Manager of Sales and Operations for CompUSA’s Southeastern U.S. and Puerto Rico division. He also spearheaded several key projects for CompUSA, including the opening of multiples locations in the Puerto Rico market.
Robin Urban, CPA – CFO
Robin Urban serves as the current CFO of Image Microsystems and Office Furniture Source. With experience in both the public and private sectors, Robin has a diverse background and has worked as Controller for HASCO Medical, Inc., JP Energy, Friedman’s Jewelers, and CompUSA.
Sammy Saloum – President
Sammy Saloum is the President of Image Microsystems and as such, is in charge of all innovating company strategy, developing sales, and managing supply chain function.
Sammy has held many influential roles in the retail industry. Before joining the Image Microsystems team, he held the title of VP of Merchandising, New Product Development, and Financing for RadioShack. Prior to that, Mr. Saloum was the VP of Merchandising and Ecommerce for CSK (O’Reilly) and Sr. VP of Merchandising, VP of Services and Sr. Director of Mobility at CompUSA.
In addition to his professional titles, Mr. Saloum sits on the board for a variety of Silicon Valley start-ups and acts as a consultant on Merchandising, Services, Mobility, and go-to-market strategies.
Brian Buhro – CIO
Brian Buhro is the CIO of Image Microsystems and is responsible for supporting the technology and process development initiatives for the company. Brian began his journey at Image Microsystems in 2008 when he became the Director of Systems and Process Development. Before that, he served as the Business Analytics Manager at CompUSA for six years and was the Senior Business Analyst at NEC for four years.
Mr. Buhro’s education took place at the University of North Texas where he concentrated his studies on Engineering Technology and Program Management.
Damon Didier – VP of Marketing & Ecommerce
Damon Didier serves as the VP of Marketing and Ecommerce at Image Microsystems and Office Furniture Source. Previously Damon was the Director of Marketing at HASCO Medical, Inc. for five years.
Before that, he served two years as Principal of Media Vision, a display advertising and internet marketing firm. During this time, Damon also sat on the Board of Directors for the American Advertising Federation of Orlando and was a member of the Public Relations committee for the American Red Cross.
Mr. Didier’s career in marketing began with a 12-year stint at CompUSA where he worked as a Sales Manager and General Manager in the Southeastern United States. Mr. Didier attended the University of South Florida, where he was awarded his Bachelor’s of Science degree in Management Information Systems.
Norman Pataky – Director of Facilities
As Director of Facilities for Image Microsystems, Norman Pataky is responsible for receiving, shipping, and product processing operations. For the five years prior, Norman worked as General Manager and Director of Safety for MobilityWorks, the largest retailer of wheelchair accessible vehicles in the United States. Not only did Norman successfully expand his location to become one of the largest stores in the company during his time with MobilityWorks, he pioneered their accessible taxi division as well.
Before this position, Mr. Pataky had acquired over 15 years of retail experience working as general Manager and Service Manager for HH Gregg, Staples, and CompUSA. Norman is an excellent manager and people person who has received top honors for his operational and customer service competencies three times throughout his career.
